Why would anybody be surprised that there are sharks in the Med? There are plenty around the UK coast and it is a lot warmer here.

The first year I was here 2 juvenile Great Whites were caught offshore from Lapta. Swim in good daylight and when the water is clear and you will have no problem with them.
