hire car company north and south

I have heard that there is to be a collaborative effort between a north and south hire car company- which would mean freedom to roam with support in the case of breakdown I presume- does anyone know if this is the case and also the name or weblink of the company

sorry, this may not be too much help as we cannot remember the name, but a less than 2 years ago my partner booked flights to larnaca and when he booked it came up for booking car hire. he enquired about taking the vehicle to the north before booking and they were more than happy to allow this (everywhere else we tried point blank refused) the car company he used allowed unlimited mileage and included breakdown in the north. there were no restrictions on crossing the border. really tried to wrack our brains and try and check through old bookings etc, but really do not recall the name. but if we do come across it then i will post it on here. the car hire was extremely good and reasonably priced, worked out cheaper than transfers and hiring a car in the north.

Petsas car hire allow cars to go north and will also arrange insurance for a 10€ surcharge. Online booking too.
