Multimax "independent" VPN
I've PM'd Soner but not sure if it went through, so thought I would see if anyone else can help.
Hi Soner,
Your separate VPN works perfectly for BBC Iplayer, but I can't get it to work for ITV or Channel 4 catch up. They both ask for a post code and whatever I put in, they say isn't valid.
Is there a correct postcode to use with your VPN?
Many thanks for your help.

SourBrandy,
I'm not sure why your post is directed at Soner - he isn't anything to do with Multimax - nor does he provide a VPN!
Anyway, with the VPN activated, enter "whats my ip" in your search bar.
When I do that, one result states "Your IP address is 78.129.169.134 in Aberystwyth, Ceredigion, United Kingdom (SY23)", so if I entered an SY23 postcode (with a number and a couple of letters added to make a 'proper' postcode) when asked by a website, then my IP would match the postcode, and that might satisfy it.
I can't guarantee it, but it might be worth trying!

I'm glad that it worked - it was a bit of a 'shot in the dark', to be honest
One last thought though - I believe that Multimax do regularly change the parameters of their VPN - to stop it being identified as such, and 'blocked' by UK programme providers - so you might find that you need to run through that procedure again at some point, if the IP address (and therefore the postcode) changes in the future.
