Does anyone know what time the department opens to tax a car?

Usually, there are staff present from 8am, when they actually start dealing with the public is a different matter...

Thanks for reply went at 9.15 and in and out in 5 minutes and its come down 100 lira!!

Where is the road tax office in Kyrenia?

Take, from the center of Girne, the road going to Karakum, Catalkoy and so on. Pass the Post Office and the NEW hospital, both on the left (5 minutes walk). Just a few meters after the new hospital is (again on the left side of the road) a quite small entrace to a place with office blocks and parking facilities. Go (or drive in) there, do not go into the first buildings right and left. Go over the first parking place, it is then the second buildung on the left side. Inside there road tax office is on the ground floor to the left.

Actually, AFTER going over the first part of the parking place, it is then the first (and last) building.
