Clothes shoes etc for refugees in Turkey

Does anyone know if items are still being collected to send to the refugee camps in Turkey. I believe that some time ago St Andrews Church was a drop off point .

As far as I understand from one who knows, Turkish customs people have prevented the clothes etc being delivered to Turkey. The organisers stopped collecting some time ago and are trying to send the clothes to a country that will accept them.

Thank you, that is a pity as the people in the camps could probably benefit greatly from the donations. I will pass the things I have to a charity shop instead.
