Green Lotus Chinese takeaway in Alsancak is relocating along the coast road near Freddies bar and becoming a full-on Chinese restaurant. Should be open soon.
Highly recommended.

Re: The Laughing Buddha
We enjoy the Laughing Buddha and think their set menu is really good value.
A choice of starter plus a choice of 4main dishes plus rice and noodle - 65TL per head.
We can never manage to eat it all though you get such generous portions.
Give it a try but it is quiet early on.
BBB's other half - feeling hungry now thinking about all that lovely food.

Where is The Laughing Budda? Is it that restaurant on the road leaving Girne going towards Lefkosa?

Re: The Laughing Buddha
Been twice this year when we had family/friends out and both times had excellent food and plenty of it, great value for money if you go for the set menu at 65tl.
