Spider
We have this spider living in our dog house - I think it is a tarantula. Does anyone know if this Cyprus version is dangerous?! Will it eventually leave of its own accord - can't put the dogs in there with it!

Re: Spider
This sort of questions frequently comes up. If you Google "Spiders native to TRNC" or something similar I'm sure you'll find a picture of your little visitor. Must admit I thought Cyprus tarantulas had longer legs, but the pictures will let you know.

Re: Spider
I am no expert but it does not look like one, but difficult to see the size from the photo. We had one in our cats basket. Curled up it was the size of a golf ball I was not sure it was a spider, but when I sprayed it with water I found out. (just about made it to the toilet). But when it walked its leg span was approx 5.5 inches. and stripy, but I think the female differs from the male.

Re: Spider
It looks like a baby tarantula and there will be others under or behind the kennel. It seems to have a hairy body.
