with TRNC numberplate to europe

Hi,
i have a friend who wants to bring daddys TRNC car to germany.
i told him that he, due to the trnc numberplate, most probably will get no access into greece,
(same for bulgaria)

ok, that (proven) info was old, 2008, is that still the case?

Tried Bulgarian border about 10 years ago, no chance!
Don't think it has changed since. Was a very frustrating
experience.
