Tarantula problem
I have found two very large Tarantulas in my living room today. These are the first ones I have ever seen let alone in my house.Has anyone else had them as house guests this year and is there anyway to deter them?
Im in for a nervous evening!!

Re: Tarantula problem
Unless they have had babies there are usually only 2.
Remember, no matter where you go, there you are.

Re: Tarantula problem
This may not be very helpful but it could be worthwhile contacting James Bond (007) in Dr No to see how how dealt with a tarantula. YouTube has the clip.

Re: Tarantula problem
We had one in our dog pen (!), hiding under a floor covering. Big thing, but went eventually. We completely cleared out the pen as didn't know where it had gone, did not find it. Luckily we rarely put dogs in there anyway.

I have no fear of them, consequently I've never seen one or had one come near. Sod's law isn't it.

Well Frontalman I know who to ring if any others members of the family turn up.I handed my husband a Tupperware box to trap it and he shouted that he needed a bigger box.Reminds me of Jaws when they needed a bigger boat.
