Update on Girne Dog Shelter

For those who are interested purely for the dogs welfare - as opposed those who are intent on using any excuse to whinge and moan and criticise KAR ....

This was copied this morning from another Animal welfare social media site "Street Dogs of Kyrenia"......

" Was up at the "temporary shelter" again this morning. I was glad to see that the Belediye Heath department took some notice. The water is now clean & working. The dogs that had escaped were back in the shelter too. We did however give the dogs around 1 large tin of food each plus home cooked food & they ate it all up very quickly. They are given the cheap dry food but obviously don't like it very much. Let's hope it continues improving "

So the issues that i said (in a previous post/thread) were raised and discussed between Girne Belediyesi and KAR on Friday were acted upon .

If you have Facebook you can view Muzzy's videos that he has taken up at the temporary shelter. Sad conditions shown yesterday. Better today after he complained about the water situation to the Belidiere.
Google Street dogs of Kyrenia to see his work.
He has also posted pictures of the new shelter site that Girne is developing.
Muzzy does amazing work with the street dogs when he is over here. He has been feeding them out if his own pocket for several years now.
