Noise from music at Elexus Hotel

Was looking forward to a good nights sleep on Friday evening as early flight back to UK on Saturday.
The music was blasting away from what I think was the Elexus hotel until 3.30am, much worse than any drumming noise from the power station.
We are the other side of Alagadi near to the golf club so it must be terrible for people living closer to this monstrosity.

So much for a quiet peaceful Cyprus that we were so looking forward to.

We get the same from the Cratos. Last night it was still thumping out at 4am. Not so much the music but we get the thump thump thump of the base/bass. Lord knows what it's like for anyone staying in the hotel. Couldn't sleep with it so was up at 3am reading until just after 4am. Sadly that's the usual pattern in the summer.............

I sympathise, we used to get it when we lived near St. Tropez restaurant in Alsancak from all the clubs nearby, and not just at weekends. I found using foam earplugs helped, calling the police didn't - they would turn the music down for 10 minutes then ramp it up again when the police had gone.

Unfortunately, for some, we are in a holiday resort......same as any other I guess....Spain, Greece, Portugal...etc etc....all will be the same....I guess you really have to think about where you buy or rent or stay....

True mrsgee but when we bought the Malpas, Cratos and Elexus were not built!
We bought in an untouristy area not really like Spain, Portugal or Greece back then. Just shows you can never tell what will happen close by no matter how much you think about where to buy or stay.
Like I said the usual pattern for summer............
Just so intrusive at 4am.

Oh dear, message 5, that might have been the case 10 years or more ago, and there were very few massive discos in any case. Times they are a changing in a big way. We live in Alsancak and have this type of base noise on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and sometimes Sunday. As the summer goes by it will be louder and longer into the morning. Added to this are the weddings with both noise and a 10 minute firework display which sort of helps!!

We've had our villa for 8 years, this was prior to the completion of Cratos and even the start of Elexus.
It was just BOOM BOOM BOOM of the base, we even get it sometimes during the day.

Surely not even people that stay at these places want to listen to this type of music into the early hours.

At least the golf club turns the music off at midnight.

These hotels do nothing for the local businesses such as restaurants etc as the people that stay never leave the hotel and all of the money goes back to Turkey.
