Re: Escape Beach
I'd be just about willing to pay the entrance fee to spend a day there but the drinks are totally over-priced, we took relatives there on their first visit to North Cyprus and they had gotten so used to the prices everywhere else in that week that even they noticed it.
Big water - 1TL in shops in Lefkosa, 2TL shops Kyrenia, 3TL in restaurants in Lefkosa, 5TL in restaurants in Kyrenia, 6TL on a boat trip.......9TL in Escape. Really?
If the owners are reading, you've done a great job but this should really be reconsidered. Although I'm sure it will be packed anyway so probably not worth reconsidering

Re: Escape Beach
Take water with you and insist on your legal right of free entry to the beach. If refused, call the police.

Re: Escape Beach
Why would any one want to use this beach, its a rip off 20tl entrance then ripped off over food and drink prices do not use them, there are plenty other beaches along this side of the coast (west of girne) do not use this beach, nothing but a total rip off.

Re: Escape Beach
thought all the beaches in NC were meant to be free, even Sarduna bay tried to charge but notice this year he has taken the entrance fee away ... if you use their sunbeds you pay but whats wrong with sitting just on the sand with towels, lovely ..

Re: Escape Beach
Take your own sun beds, parasol etc and set them up on the free beaches. However, if you need toilet facilities provided by others, you'll have to pay.

Re: Escape Beach
We go to Alagadi Beach, the restaurant has reasonable prices and the toilets are clean! They charge 2tl for non restaurant goers too use the toilets.
