Just trying to watch Glastonbury via PC connected to TV and it works for about a minute and the tv keeps turning itself off and on. I have tried to watch TV directly but same happens and the smart remotes won't currently work either.

It could be that the TV has developed a fault which is made worse by the heat.

Leave the TV off for a while, and put your Aircon on for an hour, to bring the room temperature down to around 20 to 22 degrees C, then try the TV again.

Even if this does help, and you can watch your programme, you would be well advised to get the TV repaired - but at least you will have some additional info for the repairman...

The main Samsung dealer in the area is 'Mark's World' opposite Lemar in Karakum - the one with the big 'SAMSUNG' sign - quite possibly where you bought yours!

They should be the best equiped to fix it, in my opinion.

Thank you Keith, and yes that is where I bought it. I seem to recall something similar a few months ago and it turned out to be updates or downloads,

Hmmm....

It's not usually a good idea to interupt updates, etc. - so it might be as well to leave it alone for a while! - but leave it plugged in.

Sod's law that it decides to do updates just when you want to watch the telly!

Good luck with it!

I ended up watching via my laptop without the internet cable to the TV. Today, internet cable back in and all working perfectly again so it must have Benn updates.

The room was actually quite cool. It was a similar issue to one I had in April and it was nowhere near as hot then.
