Sadly it is Karaoke night at this appalling establishment.
What on earth makes these losers think they can sing? I have the misfortune to live quite close to this s...thole and the weeky karaoke is the same every week. None of them can sing but clearly the same rubbish people turn up and 'sing' the same rubbish stuff.
Surely there should be a law against this amazingly crap 'entertainment'......incredibly most of the dozy audience applauds each of the horrendous performances. Is this the best these people can do?
Time to move methinks.
In any normal well organised urbanisation this crap bar wouldn't be allow to do business in what has always been a residential area. But of course this is Cyprus and anything goes. I suspect if a government minister or his mates lives nearby this wouldn't happen.

While I may have a little sympathy for your dilemma, given what happened in Istanbul airport yesterday I think your last comment is in very poor taste.

Trooper get a life comes to mind. if you are so small minded why don't you leave.
People go out to enjoy a FUN night out and lets face it that is what it is. If you lived
by Ice on Escape then i think you would have reason to complain. Why don't you
just turn your t.v,up or better still go to a local bar where they have local"music"
and then you would count your blessings.

In most cases I say 'live and let live' but in this case I think trooper has a fair point.
This whole area was a haven of peace and quiet and the reason most of us bought here. Occasionally I would get a drift of sound from Tolgas in its heyday and still do sometimes from weddings etc. in Karsiyaka Square garden.
I am not personally affected by Montenegro but it is totally out of place. Apart from traffic increase on very narrow roads it just changes the character of the area and I know has upset many local residents. It just doesn't belong here - with or without karaoke.

Hi
Well i think the Montenegro is a lovely bar and the owners are very nice people.
I don't live that far from it.
I often sit out on my terrace and sing along with the songs, ( like i did last night ) and before you say it NO I'm not a sad person, and i do have a life.
Everyone has the right to live there lives, so we should respect it.
We can hear the music sometimes from Simena, when they have music on, BUT am i bothered NO, because people have the right to enjoy themselves.
Life's to short xx
