Try the wool shop in Girne or Mermaid fabrics maybe able to help

The stationary shop opposite Georges Café sells Velcro strip off of the roll by the meter. Black, brown or white. Bought some on Wednesday. 8tl per meter.

The best place for Velcro of all sizes we have found is in the small parade of shops just off the one of the Metehan roundabouts...

Head towards Metehan from Girne and when you get to roundabout where you can turn left towards the Lemar or right to Metehan turn left towards Lemar and before you get very far at all it can be found immediately over on the right hand side next to a photocopy shop.

Just to save anyone a trip, Mermaid don't sell Velcro. The wool shop down tin pan alley does and can usually order in the width and colour you want.
