In the UK all exterior doors have a weather strip at the bottom to stop rain etc., entering and also stop bottom of the door from deteriorating.
Has anyone found where they can be either bought or made out here as my front door is really suffering.
Thanks.

Any Yapi market sells these. Just cut to size and attach to the bottom of the door (either screw or tack )

We have a Stormguard threshold door sill similar to this: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Stormguard-Sup ... B0071LEKDY. It measures around 33 inches/83cm which was too small for our front door. It's unused, gold effect. It cost £20+ and will sell for £10.

The weather strips that I was referring to are plastic with bristles on the floor side and just cut to size. Usually dark brown colour.

Do you mean one like this?muffin1 wrote:The weather strips that I was referring to are plastic with bristles on the floor side and just cut to size. Usually dark brown colour.
These are usually intended to go on the inside, and even if you put them on the outside, they would do nothing to prevent water damage to the bottom of the door - in fact the bristles might even act as a reservoir for rain water, holding it in contact with the wood.
