Sending phone pictures

I have been trying to text pictures to England without success. Have been to Turkcell shop and they say they do not support sending to UK, thought that couldn't be right so asked in a Telsim shop who also told me the same. Please can anyone tell me differently or how to resolve it.

Boerboel, they are both correct, I am unable to send piccys on my phone, I have a contract phone but that does not make any difference, also unable to send a name card either !!!

I suppose its because it would use roaming that would be expensive.

Can you do it using a WiFi hospot.?
I use laptop that way.
Assume phone in wifi mode should work the same using wifi link to go "roaming"
You could then email your pictures?
Assuming you have a smart phone?
