Wood's bite marks help police in capture of Esentepe robber
Source : http://www.gundemkibris.com/kredi-kartl ... 41527h.htm
Yesterday morning police arrested 21-year old Yaşar Yaman in an operation in Karşıyaka. Yaman (shown below) was found to be in possession of the Esentepe couple's camera and a jacket belonging to Steven Graver.
In a press conference yesterday the police told reporters that Linda Wood's bite marks on Yaman's fingers enabled them to identify Yaman ... and then apparently with the evidence stacked against him, he confessed to his involvement in the robbery.
The police are still searching for the other two robbers.
With regard to the still missing four stolen credit cards, the report says that one of them was used to withdraw 1000TL from an ATM in Girne.

I wouldn't fancy being in his shoes. One sure thing, over here the punishment does fit the crime.

Well done The Police. They do not mess about and have a very good crime solving record.
A few years ago an elderly widow was burgled, little was taken but the house was a mess. The detectives who attended were very throrough and tried to reassure Aysa Hanim . They did not aprehend anyone but came back twice more to try and reassure her and that her neighours were looking out for her safety. Thats what Icall good communit policing.

Mel, just use the 'edit' button to correct typos etc - I find it really handy for confusing Crumpy

The police here aren't bogged down with legislation like back in the UK, it is similar to back in the day policing in the UK, when a clip around the ear was the norm. I think this chap will get more than just a clip though!
