I'm sure Scubac will correct me if I'm wrong, but I would assume on CDs, books being in .mobi or .pdf format which can be directly loaded into kindles, and/or other formats (e.g. .epub, .rtf, .htm, etc) that can be converted to mobi and then installed....

Most of these books are PIRATED from the internet. Do the same .,! Download CALiBRE an convert to any format. Do not pay this person for a business that does not exist. Just search Pirate Bay

There are several internet sites where ebooks are freely available to download - for example, Project Gutenberg, Baen Books, dailyfreebooks, etc. - all freely available. As these are free, AND as I am not a lawyer, AND as I do not know exactly how much Scuba charges for these CDs, I will not attempt to pass any judgement on the charges of "piracy" and/or the fine legalities thereof.
IF the books are obtained from such (copy-right free) sources, and the charges merely cover the cost of the CD's and perhaps a little extra for the time and effort expended (to save others the time and effort!), while debatedly and technically (?) wrong, I personally would find it difficult to make such emphatic comments....
Without knowing the source of the books in question and all other relevant details, it is unfair and wrong to pass judgement..... especially if advising others to perform the same (unsubstantiated) actions......

I don't think you have to be so rude as per the forum rules.

There are many of us that have no idea how to download, convert and whatever else you have to do to get books onto an e-reader and we are grateful that there are other options available to us ie as the originator of this thread!

You may be computer savvie but not all of are!

Don't be so rude Mimi2. This lady has been selling extremely well recorded CD books for years and has dozens and dozens of grateful customers. Don't harp on about legalities in this country for goodness sake. How many people have genuine downloaded Windows etc or genuine DVD, not many!! I have known the lady and her husband for years and would defend them to the end. So if you haven't anything nice to say, then be quiet.

I am so sorry that my question resulted in negative comments it sounds as if this lady is providing a very worthwhile product that is much appreciated so I wish her all good luck in finding someone to take this over.

I would like to say a big thank you to scubac for all times she downloaded books I asked her for, nothing was to much trouble for this lady, some of us are not computer savvy and the service that scubac provided was a big bonus for lots of people at the market, I for one shall be sorry to see her go
