Name change on Pegasus Flight
I know I can get a refund for a Pegasus flight I will not be using next month but is it possible to do a name change so my Daughter can use it. It was booked and paid for over the Internet but there is nowhere on the site that mentions a name change.
Is there a Pegasus Airlines office in Girne? Anyone help?

I think the Pegasus office in Girne is near HSBC bank. That is where we went when the fare was taken twice for a flight when the Internet crashed during a booking. They sorted the problem and refunded the card. Good luck.

Sorry to say you got no chance. We had booked for my mother in law to come over but she passed away before hand. I went to the Pegasus office in both Girne and Ercan. They would not change names even though the ticket holder was dead. The cancellation of the ticket would only result in a refund of a fraction of the ticket cost. Completely unhelpful.

They will not do a name change. I now have to cancel the flights I paid £450 for and will receive back eventually £127, woopy do.

I think it is normal practice NOT to be able to make name changes with most airlines

Made a mistake last year with the surname whilst booking with Turkish Airlines, notified them 9 minutes later by email. A further 32 emails down the line and an extra 25 dollars to investigate, and being promised if I re booked a new ticket with them they would refund. Not penny back. But I do hold the agent Cheapoair.com partly to blame.

Norwegian airlines allow name change plus also you can change flight dates etc. yes there is a charge but easily done.
Most airlines allow name change for a fee. Depending on what type of tickets you buy most will also allow change of flight date etc... Again for a fee or price difference. Some airlines allow name change for free if you have bought a more expensive ticket initially.
Pegasus are way down the list of airlines we now use. Much prefer Turkish, Norwegian, BA, Aegean or even Easyjet

Re: Name change on Pegasus Flight
I think we must speak as we find.
Three years ago we found it necessary, due to essential hospital treatment, to have to cancel two return flights, for two people, one return flight in June and the other in September.
We contacted Pegasus and they refunded all costs, including taxes, for both. They organised the refunds ver quickly upon receipt of a letter from our GP.
Pegasus are much maligned a lot of the time but personally we have never had any problems with them and they went "above and beyond" in this instance.

Pegasus do allow change of flight dates/times , as long as it is done 3 Hours before the departure time of the flight that you wish to change , albeit you will be liable for any price difference , but you do need to contact the agent that you booked with .PoshinDevon wrote:Norwegian airlines allow name change plus also you can change flight dates etc. yes there is a charge but easily done.

I have found that if you book online with an airline using their own website you have a good chance of getting satisfaction with changes. However if you book through an agency who get the tickets from an airline at a discounted price you have little chance. The airline cannot change the agents booking and the agent has been paid and has no interest in your problems.
