Above ground pools and cleaning them
Morning all, we have been using an above ground pool during the very hot weather, and am managing to keep it clean by netting it each day etc., and the usual tablets which we place in the container which floats in the pool, it also has a small pump which filters the water but the problem we seem to have is removing dust particles from the bottom of the pool, other than completely emptying the water, then cleaning the bottom and refilling it is there another way to get round it, (bearing in mind the water shortage problems at the moment would) be grateful for any advice. Thanks

If you can use the output for the filter pump to insert a hose, then you can vacuum the dust with the water still in the pool. See vacuum and hoses at Pooltech website: http://pooltechcyprus.com/en/index.php? ... art_ID=104 and http://pooltechcyprus.com/en/index.php? ... art_ID=110
If pool is big then maybe better to invest in a Barracuda, this vacuums the pool bottom whilst the pool pump is on ( no other electrical power needed). There are many types about, but Pooltech also sell them: http://pooltechcyprus.com/en/index.php? ... art_ID=103
You can also still use the pool whilst it is vacuuming your pool.
Hope this helps.

If it's a small pool then try creating a suction with a garden hose and Hoover the bottom running the dirty water through a filter and save the water and replace it back in if needs be.
