Doe anyone know if existing TRNC D.L..s can be renewed now in Girne. Thank You.

Yes they can .. It's only first applications that have to go to Lefkosa ..

Thank You for prompt reply, have you actually done this there ? The only reason I ask is that the BRS website does not seem to confirm this, but I am sure someone told me they had done theirs in Girne. Thank You.

Yes have renewed ours twice & also for a replacement lost licence after a visit to the police station

And you can have up to 10 years now if you want.

Thank You for your help, done and dusted this morning very quick I can collect on the 9th Sept. or after Bayram (its 9 days). I went for the 5 years I think it was approx 460 TL. They did not even ask for my passport just photocopy of residency stamp page and Photo page of passport and my old License .

I was hoping to kill two birds with one stone and renew our car tax also, but system was down until Monday.
