How to get insured on trnc licence in UK
Any ideas on how I can get insured to drive in the UK.
I'm aware I can drive for six months on my trnc licence.
I want to buy a car and drive it over you see.
Thanks

I think you will have to insure the car for 12 months in the uk, it would cost you a lot more to do it less than that. Did you take your test in the UK or in the TRNC, as if it was in the TRNC it might not be recognisable in the UK.

There's a lot of information on here, but the sticking point for you maybe you are not recognised as having an EU licence..........but worth putting in your reg. no to find out

If you have taken your driving test in a Eu country you will be fine driving in the UK, but if you took the test in the TRNC which is not a recognisable state and not in the EU then there would be a problem. My Daughter took her test in the TRNC and would not be able to drive in the UK, I would look on the websites for advice.
