Are the shops open today??

Anybody been out & about to see if many shops are open please?
Need chemist (not urgent) electrical goods shops & Wines of the World!

A lot of places seem to be open today. I think it will be the luck of the draw if your particular shop is open.

I think most Supermarkets only closed on Monday. Chemists are on Sunday opening ie only one is open for emergencies. Other shops seems to make their own decisions - one firm for instance which has to stay open at least partly because it relies on tourists is opening morning only.

Does anyone know if the dustbins will be collected today in Ozankoy? I missed Sunday/Monday thinking that would be no go, and no the small wheelie bin is overflowing! So much unnecessary packaging these days that cant be reused.

We live in Ozankoy & were astonished that our dustbin was emptied before it was light on Tuesday morning! Well done Girne Belediyesi.
