Water usage

I do not have a water meter for my villa which I use as a holiday home. We instead have our water tank filled each time we are in TRNC. Just wondering now that we have the supply from Turkey is it compulsory to have a water meter installed or can we continue with our existing arrangements?

I think that you would need to ask your local Belediye - they are probably the only ones who can answer the question relating to your specific location.

A proportion of the water bill is for rubbish collection & other municipality charges so you may do best to let sleeping dogs lie if you are happy with your arrangements.

Depends where you live. Water is separate to everything else in Lapta area.

The villa opposite ours uses water from a WELL. They have no meter and the water from the WELL goes directly to their tanker. I presume that there is no costs involved to the Belideye . Is this legal?
