I wanted to make Spaghetti Carbonara tonight. I got the most beautiful bacon from The Pork Shop. 8 thick huge slices for 15 TL, I was surprised when I compared it with the frozen wafer thin Iceland crap and similar that it actually worked out cheaper.
I am a big fan of our Pork Shop but I don't often buy bacon. But well worth a try compared to Supermarket mass produced.

No good praising, unless you are prepared to share and get reviews from others. When can we come?

So Sorry Laptatony, only just seen your reply and what a shame we ate it. I was not self praising my culinary skills (as If) But just very pleased with The Pork Shop Bacon I am fairly certain with exchange rate now and inflation this is better value than the frozen stuff.
I am not impressed with any Iceland products , seems like they they make a lot of their items from cardboard and sawdust. Or certainly tastes like they do.
Also I did not want much fat and was able to pick out a pack with no fat and no trimming or waste.
