Does anyone know how much it costs to get an electric meter refitted and the deposit cost please ?
We had the new prepay water fitted and have left money on the pre paid card , now the "new water " has arrived will there be any additional costs for us ?

In Lapta they were fitted free of charge.

I think that fatouche meant that water meters were fitted free of charge!
If you don't currently have an electricity meter at all, KIBTEK (not Lapta Belediyesi ) will charge you the 'normal amount' for fitting a meter. I'm sorry, but I don't know what they are demanding as a deposit these days - DO make sure that you put the receipt in a safe place, because you will need it if you ever want to move, and claim the deposit back!

As to deposit, have a look at my post (message 3) from last year; I also had to have a meter installed as none had been fitted at that point, but I can't remember whether it was about 700 or 900 TL....
