Istanbul for Bayram, info please

I have friends arriving in Istanbul on the 25th October, first day of Bayram.
Will anything be open, like shops, tourist attractions, Grand Bazaar etc etc

They are there for 5 days.

Anyone know ???

government/banks type places will not, when i lived in turkey it was only day 1 that shops closed after that it was back to being open

but istanbul is a big old place so am sure the tourist places will open
