21 Years To Graduate. Due To Fire.

On the last leg of our journey from the UK last night a very interesting well educated gentleman from Istanbul sat next to us. He told us why he was going to TRNC.

21 years ago around 120 students graduated from Near East university, he also told us how and why the universities here started. In 1995 when they should have graduated officially . But it was during the time of the great fire at Five Fingers. So it was cancelled. But all the students have arranged a reunion and are having the ceremonies today.

They are hoping this makes the Guinness Book Of Records. Hopefully it will get media coverage.

They should first be given paper and pen so that the one who started the fire can make an admission of arson without signing it !
