Paphos car hire?

Hi can anyone recommend a car hire company from Paphos airport? And if you hire a car do you need to pay tax or and insurance at the border? Was going to get a taxi up but in the middle off December it's a lot cheaper to get car hire.

Google rentalcars.com and enter Paphos as the hire point and loads of companies are listed. Some do not allow travel to the North but some do including Eurocar.
