RBL Poppy Walk this Saturday

Hello mums & dads, boys & girls! Don't forget that the annual Poppy Walk is taking place on Saturday morning at JK's Bar in Lapta.
Entry fee - 15TL with all proceeds going to the Poppy Appeal
Timings - Registration on the day only from 10am, 10Km walk starts at 10.45am followed by the 5Km walk at 11am.
Route - mainly coastal path or safe side roads with little or no traffic
Dogs on leads are welcome
Live entertainment from DJ Pete Murray plus the bar is open for drinks & snacks

I'll be there - for those waking up this glorious Saturday morning it's not too late. Come and join the fun, do a little bit of gentle exercise with a few hundred others and help the RBL Poppy Appeal - great start to a Cypriot Weekend!!

The weather was good (a tad hot), the turnout was disappointing (was it advertised widely enough?), but the event raised £750 for the RBL. A good result, I think. Well done those who supported the event.
