Limes (Free) Now all gone

I have 3 carrier bags of limes to go. Fed up with lime chutney, pickle and marmalade, and bloodied arms.

Mike we have cooked them, frozen them & squeezed them, such a large crop this year !!

This is the first time I have heard of limes growing in the TRNC and I have always wondered why not?

Dont hit me if I got it all wrong, but are you sure these are limes and not green (ie not quite ripe) lemons? If they are limes do you know where the tree came from?

Mine are definitely limes but our soil is not very good and have only had 3 fruit in 5 years!

Reputable garden centres will sell you a genuine lime tree. I've been given one but don't know which garden centre it came from. Sorry

Definitely limes RR. We bought the tree about 8 years ago from Babel Gardens in Lapta, she had brought them in from Turkey. Didn't crop first couple of years but have had bumper crops since.

We bought ours from the gardens of Babel in lapta also definitely a lime tree and as was said previously a very good crop this year.
