We did ours on 23/11. Went tinto the office for a tcket, lady behind the counter aved us ove and dealt with us there and then. All done and outin less than 20mins. Lucky or not
As I got older I congratulated myself on my tolerance..... Now I realise I just don't give a "ooops"

Went today. Arrived 0815, got ticket no 37. Seen at 1005, as over 60s quickly dealt with by a charming, sociable female. Out at 1020 with 2 years each at a cost of 533 TL each for 2 years. However charming the desk officer was, the system is archaic and needs modernising.

wj, the Government recently changed public working hours to 0830 start time in light of the non-compliance with DST by the TRNC and the crash which killed 3 people last week. Whatever, glad it was 3rd time lucky for you.

Ahh that's why TS,, Always a bit of a pain for us over there, I have business work permit , my wife has residence, so although they charge her for one year they only give her until July , that's when my permit expires, After I renew it we go back over to get hers stamped again , happy days,

Re: Waiting time at immigration residency office
Went in yesterday and took advise to arrive later in the morning. Arrived at 12.05 and driving back out of the car park at 12.35, all done and dusted for the next 2 years. Went to desk for number as the waiting room seemed quite full but was dealt with straight away. I think that those waiting must be amnesty seekers.
