Intergaz delivery.
We ordered over a week ago now and were told tomorrow or the next day. Have been retold this and then on Thursday we were told they have very little gas and have nearly used up their reserves. They said they would be getting more gas at the end of next week. So we might get some then......
Presumably the hotels are getting priority.
Has anyone else had problems with delivery from Intergaz recently?
For the first time we were asked if we had a gas permit. Yes we have. We were then asked to show it to the driver. Chance would be a fine thing

Re: Intergaz delivery.
This morning they told me that the ship delivering the gas to TRNC had just docked, and that they would ring me when they got their hands on it!

Oh ok. Will give them a ring to keep the name in the frame!
Think they might need to increase their storage facility if all these hotels are continuing to be built.
Hey ho Happy Christmas.

Re: Intergaz delivery.
We understand that there was no gas here last week because of the bad weather - hello that's when you need it! Yesterday around 18.00 we saw 5 huge gas tanker lorries outside the Grand Pasha Hotel presumably just off the ferry one of them had had a minor accident so presume they were all waiting so they could go off again in convoy.
That is why we have chosen oil fuelled central heating which can be delivered in about 15 minutes.

Re: Intergaz delivery.
I was told last Friday that I would be delivered on Monday - nothing arrived although I was asked about the tank permit. Tuesday I rang again and was asked how much reserve I had in tank, which was 25% I was then told I would be delivered Saturday. On this Friday afternoon, I checked the tank and was surprised to find it full. No driver knocked the door to see tank permit and no one took any payment, so I have my gas and a trip in the New Year tp Lefkosia to pay for it. I sometimes wonder if it;s them or me!!!!

Re: Intergaz delivery.
You can pay your gas bill at a number of banks listed on the back of your bill. Alternatively you may, as I have just done, pay over the internet.

Re: Intergaz delivery.
Oh well, so much for 'The ship has just docked" & "We'll give you a ring"...
The gas man arrived unannounced this morning, filled the tank, & off!
Never known him move so fast.
He did ask to see the gas tank permit - after filling the tank
Incidentally, the price of gas has now gone up to 2.30 TL per litre, compared with 0.92 TL per litre in 2007.
Yet another case of a greedy, money oriented Cypriot business depriving poor ex-pats of their God-given right to survive in an uncaring Society?
Or just a reflection of the global price of a commodity, and the poor state of the Turkish Lira?
