It is the way of the future but I just wonder how the TRNC will road tax this sort of car? By kerbside weight plus battery weight maybe, can't be by engine size because that is allied to emissions - another nightmare in the making! At a driving distance of 350Km on a fully charged battery I can already see the price of small (suitcase) generators going up as people keep one in the back of the car when travelling across the border - lol. Wish them every success but can't see normal people ever being able to afford one for a while and as there is no 4X4 monster planned for production it rules out all the local wives having one for ferrying their single child back and forth to school!!

There's already a couple of BMW i8's here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BMW_i8

Different animal altogether, the Gunsel is going to be an all electric car, not a hybrid like the BMW.
