not sure if this is relevant to you as don't know if its the same insurance company you use, but this was in Trevors tips on cyprus scene:

""If you need to purchase new tyres, all Dagli Sigorta customers can benefit from a 10% discount for new tyres, from “Pit Stop”, which also covers their full range of services/products. [You will need to show your current Dagli Sigorta insurance policy to qualify]"

On the basis that the whole thing only cost you £45.00 for two (2) new tyres, rims knocked back into shape, balance and tracking checked - I just have to ask what sort of tyres did you have fitted to your push bike????? Or was it just the rims/balance and tracking that cost the 200TL??

I went to Pirelli Karakum and got a quote for four Pirelli - P215/70R/16 and it came out at 1400tl Image I'll venture forth and go out of Girne where I hope the prices may be more sensible but won't hold my breath ! thanks everyone for your replies doesn't only help me but many others as well I'm sure .

ttoli, I notice that you have started the new year minus your renowned sense of humor? Did you not notice the following two posts that also gave quotes of costs of tyres from Pirelli or are you serious that your two new tyres and all the rest did only cost 200TL???

waddo, behave! Mind you, 200 YTL for 2 x Pirelli tyres, wheels sorted, balancing and tracking check must verge on the sale of the century.

Apologies perhaps I should have clarified , Yes i bought the tyres from the Garaj with the Pirelli banner, opposite the Courtyard , but they are not Pirelli's.

The last time that I bought 4 new tyres for a 4 x 4 , It was cheaper across the border (something like 60 CYP per corner)- Yes it was that long ago and Customs were most perplexed when they searched an empty car

Ttoli, many thanks, did not mean to upset you with my original post and apologies if it did. Now I understand why you drove past Pitstop as well, don't think they could have matched the price you paid!
