Re: Hunting season
Yep, I've already seen cars tearing up our road to the higher slopes with one or two dogs being thrown around in a trailer, so its only a matter of time before the usual collection of poor benighted dogs coming wandering back down, unaware of why they have been abandoned or where the hell they are. Their crime, absolutely nothing, other than they have not been trained and probably were spooked being so close to a gun going off, or something equally pointless.

What these so called hunters do not understand is, it takes a good two years to properly train a gun dog, providing it is not gun shy in the first place.

Re: Hunting season
I know this is probably a waste of time but does anyone know the number for the hunting federation I am fed up of so called hunters wandering about between the houses near the barrage in Karsiyaka shooting, to the endangerment of people who are frequently seen walking there

Re: Hunting season
The hunting federation takes illegal hunting very seriously therefore if you witness any form of illegal hunting taking place the hotline number to dial is 140
I put this "trnc hunting federation" into Google search and came up with loads of information = the above is just part of it. Do try it yourself - you never know what you can find!

No matter how hard the past, you can always begin again.

Re: Hunting season
During the last hunting season our local authorities placed signs telling the hunters in Turkish NOT TO HUNT in that particular area. And what did the hunters do; pulled them up and throw them down the ravine.
I retrieved them several times and replaced them in the ground, but to no avail they just pulled them up and throw them down again further.
