Electric Gate repair

I need an electrician to look at my electric gates please. For some reason they have stopped working using the remote in the car, they do however open when we use the key. We have checked both remotes they are working fine. Please call if you can help. 0533 876 2204 thanks.

you will probably find it is the sensor but nobody can help as to were did it come from who installed it
Look at the and try and find on line your best bet

We had them installed years ago, we have no idea where the guy is now but thanks for the post.

I have just had the same problem in the UK.

Take the cover off the control box and check for damp and spiders.

Although I had no damp I gave it a short blast with a hair dryer on a low setting.

Then lightly spray with WD 40.

Bingo they worked.

If you have gate post sensors. Try blanking them off with black insulation tape.

the only thing i can think is go into Tektan in town and ask them they might com out and know were to get the spares
