Technogold Recommendation

Just wanted to say what excellent service we received last week from the new Technogold shop, between Alsancak and Karaoglanoglu. We decided to get a new television and had noticed this shop. Went in, was left alone to browse - a Godsend not to have someone following you around - but when we needed help, the lady behind the desk popped over and attended to us. She was extremely helpful, so we decided on the tv, expecting to take it away in the box. No, when we got to the counter she said they would deliver and set it up. So, expecting to have to wait a few days we said ok. Not so, two hours later lovely guy turned up, set it up, made sure everying worked and that we understood the controls. We needed two new cables for the DVD player and a streamer, so he wrote down what we needed but said they had them in the shop. Called in next morning as we were passing and the guy was behind the counter with the cables ready. Asked if we remembered what he said about where they should go...yep, no problem.....Said if any problems, he would come and sort it out.......you don't get service like that in Currys.....The shop also has lots of different electrical goods, very impressive.

Wish you hadn't said all that. Him in Doors has been harping on about me going in to Teknogold and look around since the day they opened and I haven't done so yet. You've convinced me!!!!

If I'm honest I get that sort of service from the Blomberg and Grundig shop at the bottom of the GAU road, and yes it is lovely when it happens.

Oooops sorry about that Sophie, but just felt I had to give them some recognition for fantastic service. Have no idea how prices compare though....I was sold on the service and friendliness ......
