Bayram
Anyone know exactly which days next week. Some calendars say Tuesday to Monday inclusive and others Wed - so am a bit stumped. Trying to work out when I can get into town for my MOT before I go on hols beginning of Nov and all days seem to be holidays or busy!! Apart from the fact the Tax office will probably be closed anyway for as long as it can be!!

The Kuşkor calendar says the same as Andrew. It also says that the Monday following the Bayram is Cumhuriyet Bayram - Republic day

it's such a great calendar. Has fantastic pictures, all the text in Turkish and English and all the important days marked!

Check your banks if you are needing to withdraw any money as Creditwest told me yesterday that they will not open until Tuesday, 30th October 2012.

Supermarkets have always been open in the past for all Bayram's so can't see that it will be any different this time.
