Would be useful to have a little more detail on the product/ technology and cost. Once people have this information they could them decide if worthwhile calling.

The agency in Northern Cyprus is not connected in any way what so ever with the agency based in Southern Cyprus.
We are official representative of the manufacturer based in Switzerland.

If you would like further information on the technology involved you can goto the the manufacturer's website which is http://www.home-dry.ch however we would not be able to give you a Quote unless we complete a survey of your property.

Home dry Cyprus - thanks for the link which I will look at in due course.
With regards to cost I understand you would need to survey but can you provide some indication based on work carried out already. Maybe something like the fllowing:-
Small 2 bed apt
3 bed villa
Lets people know immediately if the costs are prohibitive or worth investigating further.
Can you supply references of properties already using this technology.

I am very sorry, we are unable to provide you any quotes as this is a completely new product to Northern Cyprus, however if you would like to discuss this in detail we are more than happy to talk to you about the product and provide you with a quote.
The information of how the product works is on the website I left in my previous post.
best regards Cliff

Hi Cliff,
I went on their web site and I must be a bit thick because all I could find about the product was a procedure for how they do a survey and some monitoring type wall boxes

Re: Rising Damp problems !!!!!!! Not any more
Having had a look at the website,To me it looks like a type of 'Electro Osmosis damp proofing'.
It works (apparently)by drilling holes approx every metre round your house, and inserting titanium wire into the holes-one end is earthed, the other end goes to the box on the wall that basically sends a charge through the wire.
The electrical charge apparently draws the moisture back to earth.
The technology isn't new-In fact I believe it was first tested nearly 200yrs ago.
It is not recognised as effective by the UK building standards authorities- although they will always err on the side of caution.
The kit to install it is relatively cheap, but as with most things the companies that sell it dress it up as a highly complicated thing in order to charge a high price.
Now I could be completely wrong in supposing that this is the same system- but the website ,and the OP are not particularly forthcoming in specific details.
All I suggest is that you google - Electro Osmosis damp proofing.
Then make your own mind up.
It reminds me of the damp proofing equivalent of 'Zerochlor'.
In conclusion it is very difficult to find decisive data on this system-
Some swear by it, others say you are better with more traditional systems.
My personal advice would be to make sure you do everything you can by way of fitting gutters etc to try to make sure water is not coming into contact with the exterior of your property

Until houses are built here with a proper damp course you cannot get rid of it what ever you do it seeps up from the ground as there is no barrier to stop it.
