What happened at the auction of the Greatstone Properties?

I was just wondering if anyone knows whether the houses were auctioned and who bought them ? I am interested as we bought through Greatstone and after a lot of heartache and extra money we got our deeds. I feel so sorry for these people. All this through no fault of their own and a not fit for purpose legal system
