In our garden this morning ! In all the years we've been here I have never seen robin here before. I'm now wondering if I imagined it.

Your not imagining it, we've had many robins in our garden in Ozankoy.

Yes, we have one or two that have survived the "ooops" hunters, but nothing like the number we used to have 10 years ago sadly.

I thought you were calling me there!

In the days when I could dig the garden, a robin used to sit on the spade handle with his little head cocked looking for worms, just as if he were posing for a traditional picture! I also used to see a blackbird (also after the worms) and (I think?) a thrush. Certainly several pairs of blue and coal tits. Sadly sighting are rare now. Not just the hunters but because people feed stray cats in their gardens and therefore attract them to residential areas - that will not be popular but it is fact.
