We are both pensioners and have a 90 day policy with LV ( Liverpool Victoria ) and whilst not the cheapest , they are excellent when things go wrong. Have claimed twice once for dental work in TRNC and once when we got mugged in Tenerife last year. LV paid us within 3 weeks both times. Just renewed at £345 but well worth it.

I think that if you put staysure into the search box near the top left hand corner of the screen, and read the resulting posts, you will understand why...

I'd second LV! My husband has a policy with them and they paid up far quicker and with no fuss when we had to cancel a trip due to ill health. In contrast my Nationwide policy took 2 months longer and numerous phone calls before I got the cheque. My husband has long term ill health and LV don't now cover those but his annual policy covers trips up to 90 days and cost this year £242, he's also nearer 80 than 70 years of age!

I think you may be putting "staysure" in the topic search box. Try putting it in the other searchbox right at the top of your screen -i.e. the one above the KIBKOM FORUM banner.

I think it is relatively easy to get travel insurance if you live in the UK but not if you live here. Last time I looked into getting it here, admittedly a while ago, the medical insurance was only €30.0000 max cover which we do not think enough.

we get travel insurance from Steve Dickenson in Alsancak.
I can't remember the name of the company, they also have an office in Karaoglanoglu.
David in the office is so helpful. We needed to make a claim, it went through so easily with his help.
Don't live in the past, make new memories every day,
