laptop and turkish airlines
Flying next Saturday with Turkish Airlines from Edinburgh via Istanbul to Ercan.
Has anyone flown out with Turkish Airlines since the laptop announcement, I am aware that it'll need to go in my case on the way back - however can I take it on board on the outward journey??
thanks all

Re: laptop and turkish airlines
thanks for that, I phoned them and they said that I should phone Edinburgh airport and they said I should phone Turkish airlines
looks fine for the way out and they have a special place for the way back, however I think I will carefully pack it in bubble wrap on the way back - deep inside my case
thanks

From someone who went Ercan Istanbul Birmingham. No problem Ercan to Istanbul and laptops checked in at the gate leaving Istanbul for collection in Baggage reclaim at Birmingham. Apparently working.

Re: laptop and turkish airlines
I flew Turkish Airlines from BHX-Istanbul-Ercan and had no problems with my Kindle in my hand luggage, so no problem leaving the UK, However I noted the queue for security was very long, my kindle was checked and swabbed for whatever they swab it for, think its for explosives.
