Change of Car Owner

Hi All

I'm buying a car from a fellow swallow. could anyone advise on the procedure for getting the car into my name and also insurance and car tax. Much appreciate your help. Thjank goodnes for KibKom. George

Things change all the time but when we bought our car we and the seller went to a notary with our passports and had a notarised document completed showing all the details of the sale. We then went to Lefkosa to have the documents changed into our name. At that time the insurance attached to the car and the name on the document was changed by the broker. The tax also went with the car. There was of course fees for everything but what we paid will be long out of date.
