Does anyone know where I can get a Kodi remote from. Ours has broken it seems. I have. A number for a guy called Ian, but there is no answer & a Turkish message.
I have downloaded a remote app for the iPad, but without the remote for Kodi I can't set it up properly either.
Thanks for any help or advice.

You may be able to control the device sufficiently to be able to configure it for the remote app, by using a keyboard and/or mouse - either 'wired USB' or via a USB wireless dongle.

Alternatively, I find these handsets from ebay to be very useful as an alternative to the original manufacturer's item.

Thanks Keith. I found a mouse in a cupboard, so have set up the remote from iPad. I will buy a universal one when back in UK.

Is it easy to set them up to KodiTtoli? I know Tektan do universal remotes.

ttoli, will the replacement remote turn the box 'on' and 'off'? The remote for my Kodi box is broken and having tried many remotes, I cannot find a replacement that will power the box on and off, although they do everything else.

Ok me & my Kodi box are not friends right now. I now have a screen saying connect to charger, so cannot get into system. No idea of password. Cannot do reset as no remote or keyboard. ( have keyboard/remote on iPad only) Where can I buy a wifi keyboard. At least then I could do a reset & see if that works. Will that be a worthwhile process or am I wasting my time? Would a universal remote work if I go to Tektan?
I'm not technically minded, so need help from you experts please.

If you can put a 'photo of your faulty remote on the forum, or email one to me keithcaley@yahoo.com , I will have a root through my spares cupboard, and see if I can find one to match...

Thanks Keith, I have borrowed a keyboard & have done a factory reset which has cleared the charger issue, but am struggling to reinstall Kodi. This will be the death of me!

Once you have downloaded and installed Kodi, install the Program Addon called Community Portal, then it becomes very easy to install the rest of the addons that you want, without all that laborious File Manager stuff!

The offer to try to find you a remote control still stands...

Oh that's great Keith. I've managed to get Exodus. Cloud & UKTurk on there, so can at least use it now. Will download your tip tomorrow.
Don't worry about the remote, I have borrowed a wifi keyboard so am able to have full function whilst here.
Thanks for you help though.
