Permission to Purchase (again)
Hi. If I sell a property with a Kocan in the TRNC and buy another one, do I have to apply for Permission to Purchase again even though the original purchase was 12 years ago? Thanks in advance for any guidance.

In a word Keith! PTP is given for the applicant to purchase a specific property & is not transferable to a different property the whole process must be started again.

And in an ideal world wouldn't it be lovely if you could actually check first if you qualified to purchase a property you liked before even putting down a deposit..
With computers now it would be so easy and then unless you lied you would know your investment was safe.
Back to the post you also had to cancel your permissions to purchase before resubmitting but maybe now they let foreigners own more than one property this has changed now.

I do not think they let foreigners own more than 1 property, I think husband & wife can own one each but I do stand to be corrected.

Can you apply for PTP on another property you'd like to buy before you've sold your current one?

Re: Permission to Purchase (again)
On our site, there are apparently two instances of one person owning two apartments, and one instance of a couple owning two apartments - in the latter case, it may be that each of the couple owns one apartment...
