My car is due to be re-insured which I can arrange without problem. However, I cannot collect my new Insurance certificate before I have to cross the border at Metehan the following morning after I arrive in Cyprus in order to collect my son and his girlfriend from Larnaca Airport.
I cannot remember whether you are required to produce a valid TRNC Insurance Certificate before you are able to purchase Insurance for the south and also, whether I am likely to encounter any problems when crossing back into the TRNC.
Can anyone please advise me.

Re: Insurance Certificate
We got insurance last month by producing UK driving licence, log book and South issued tax certificate. Returning back north no docs checked.

Re: Insurance Certificate
If you have the TOM(MOT) Police certificate for South Cyprus then no you won't have to produce your TRNC insurance to anyone.
To get the police certificate you need to show your UK driving licence, passport and the log book for your car. You do need this certificate to purchase insurance in the south.
