Metahan insurance booth opening times coming from the south

Does anyone know what time they are open until as we have family coming over and they won't get there until midnight thanks in advance

If they are hiring a car in the South try asking the car hire firm to sort out the insurance for them. I know of a family who got caught out because their flight was delayed so the insurance booths were closed when they got to Metehan. They ended up having to find a hotel for the night, not a great start to their holiday.

I got to Metehan around 6am one morning having endured the Aegean night flight into Larnaca. We had to sleep in the car for an hour or so before someone turned up. As come_on_aylin says - sort it beforehand or get a pick-up from the airport and hire in the north.

I don't think this is correct, is it recent? I travelled over about a 2 years ago on a Sunday night about 8ish and they were both closed?

I am taking friends back to Larnaca Airport this Saturday and crossing about 7.30pm does anyone know if they will they be open?

Going North to South, the insurance booths are open until 9 pm, we've done it many times with no problems.

It's the office where you get your 'road tax' from that has restricted hours, something like 9 - 2.30 Monday to Friday.
